CHARVIL VOICES

Suzanne Newman is the
choir's Musical Director. She studied for a BA in Creative Arts at Bretton Hall
College in Yorkshire and also holds a PGCE specialising in music and children
with special educational needs. After teaching in schools for several years
Suzanne became a self employed teacher of piano and singing and currently has
about sixty pupils of all ages. Several of her pupils have become members of the
national Youth Choir of Great Britain and some have gone on to study music at
university. Suzanne has run several choirs over the years including Charvil Children's
Choir, Vivace Girls Choir and Serinette Ladies Choir.
