JOIN THE BALSHAM SINGERS

 

We currently have approximately 55 members but 55 is not enough and as you're here, you've either tripped and amazingly typed Balsham Singers into Google, or you've looked us up.

 

Nitty grittle bit follows...

We rehearse on Thursdays at 7.30pm at the Meadow School in the village. Concerts are performed twice a year with orchestra. The venue is Holy Trinity Church which has truly fabulous acoustics. Please feel free to drop us a line or come along to a few rehearsals for a test drive.

 

 

No audition is required, although an ability to achieve a high standard from a fast paced, vibrant and more importantly, fun rehearsal atmosphere is vital. Rehearsals start in January for the Spring concert in May and again in September for Christmas.

 

 

Each member pays a yearly £5 membership fee, wherein you will receive newsletters, either by email or post. £20 is also payable for each concert to cover the obvious cost incurred, which includes music hire.

 

 

 

The singers enjoy numerous social thingies throughout the year, including a Christmas party in January (yes, January) and a summer jolly in June, both of which are currently bring and share events.
