Loc-Mai Yuen-Brooker - Choir Pianist Loc-Mai Yuen-Brooker, our pianist, was born in Bracknell, Berkshire, qualified as a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music and studied French and Music at Westminster College, Oxford. She then took up a post in Vierzon Choir and Music School, touring France accompanying and performing. Returning to Berkshire, she continued to teach and further her experience on the concert platform and as piano recitalist. Loc-Mai moved to Wisbech some years ago where she has established herself predominately as a piano teacher to adults and children alike, imparting her skills, enthusiasm and enjoyment to all.
At the end of the Summer 2006 term the Choir presented Loc-Mai with a double (duet) piano stool in recognition of her 5 year's service as the Clarkson Singers' accompanist. Accepting the present Loc-Mai, who teaches piano to both adults and children, said the piano stool would be put to constant use by herself and her pupils.
